From my time in college I expect to learn the needed skills to be successful in the field of work I choose to enter. (Book smarts mainly I plan to learn hands on stuff on the actual job). The ideal college experience would just be me having a moderately fun and relaxed time honestly. I want a relaxed college experience so I can actually take my time and learn the needed skills that are required in the classes. Socially however I guess it’d depend on if I wanted to interact with people but I know that is inevitable so I might as well suck it up now. Intellectually if the period isn’t fun and or relaxed would you really want to be rushed and stressed throughout your whole college experience? I think not.
I expect to get a great education to further my career and also get the typical "college experience." I want to meet tons of new people that come from different places than me with different backgrounds and also experience new things with them. College is all about new experiences, so I expect to do things I have never done before and I know I am going to go places I have not been because for my degree I need to transfer schools. Ideally, I want new friends, new experiences, and a new career. College should be fun with time to go out and do things, but also ensure I learn what I need to to get my degree. I just mainly want some free time in college to also experience life while I can.
From my time in college I hope to be able to learn all of the important information I would need to advance in the career of my choosing like Criminology. I expect to learn at least the basics first to get a fundamental idea of what I need to know as my classes get progressively harder. The ideal college experience would just to be accepted in whatever field of study I decide to go with and for me to be able to excel at learning. Some of the reasons for my choices to go to school to be a Criminal Psychologist is firstly that there aren’t many in the United States, it’s something that interests me immensely, and if I would be able to impact the world by possibly being able to discern the warning signs of a person who hasn’t yet killed but exhibits the signs, I could potentially save many lives.
What do I expect from my time in college? Well I expect to pass all my classes and to be able to tell you exactly what I have learned. I want to be able to say that I did it all by myself and to become a RN/Travel Nurse. My ideal college experience would be to go off to a big university, such as Florida State in Tallahassee or Troy, I would like to be in all the fun clubs, such as SGA and be friends with everyone, be able to open up and have a fun relaxed time. While I'm learning for my profession. My choices come from growing up in a non-educational family and I just want better for myself.
This is my second go around in college. So the social status and all that, I'm over it. Honestly this experience is for self-betterment. I want the degree. I want to be able to say I've accomplished something in my life. For me not anybody else. I've done the parties, the fraternities, the freshman college lifestyle at a major university, and I wasn't ready to actually sit down and go to college. In this second go-around I have a goal to move forward in life. To be able to say I got my college degree. And continue forward to even a master's or a doctorate. This is what I'm looking forward to my second opportunity in my life.
Going to such a small school we don’t have some of the ideal college lifestyles. Such as living on campus, parties and the freedom of living out on your own in the real world. I don’t expect much from Gulf Coast except for my education. Which technically is a good thing so I can focus on school instead of typical collage distractions. I plan on getting my degree in Business to help further my experience in the work field. I hope to get through my next couple of years as gracefully as possible, but I expect mistakes along the way to learn from.
During my time in college I look forward to learning all the skills and tools necessary to ensuring my success in the future. I also hope to figure out what I would like to do as I am exploring new things and am pursuing my Associative Arts degree. I want to make new friends in the process of achieving my degree as well. Im straight out of high school and I look to have fun while continuing to strengthen my mind and education. When I look back in the future I want to be able to say I have no regrets in my choices.
From my time in college I expect and plan to learn useful and different ways to benefit my education and help other people. I also expect to learn a lot about how to write and the different styles of writing. My ideal college experience is to do my best but not be overwhelmed by my classes by being prepared and staying on top of my classes. Also I would like to have a fun time by meeting new people.
If the past week has any indication on what I can expect from my time in college I would have to imagine college is going to be extremely exhausting. I work forty six hours a week and under some small lapse in judgment I decided to enroll back in school full time. The ideal college experience for me would be to discover more about myself and my own learning styles to best apply them to accommodating my future student’s differing learning styles and personalities. I know whatever my experience may be it will all be worth it when I’m setting up my first classroom.
my time in college I hope to become a better and brighter person in this every day life. I hope it helps me with getting my future career even though I still don't know what I would like to do for a career. I chose to go to college to benefit in life i didn't want to be an average Joe and only have a high school diploma and work a minimal skill job. I would love to travel the world and make plenty of money being in the career that I love and I hope going to college helps me get their. I believe that the world is evolving and that people of the world need to become smarter and take on any knowledge they can to learn to evolve like we're and the world is every day and I hope college gets me their.
From my time in college I expect to be presented with a level of understanding to fulfill the skills which are needed to pursue my choice of profession. The ideal college experience for me is to be within an organized setting, very precise on schedule being that I am a very precise type of person. I like to know what we will be studying prior to, so that I am prepared. Socially I am quiet, but I help others when needed, also if we are doing a activity that requires interaction, I would not have a problem interacting with others. Intellectually, classes should be thought through because chaotic situations add more stress, which college classes shouldn't be as stressful as they often are.
What am I hoping to get out of my time in college? I am trying to continue my education to better my future and help myself become the man I dream about being. I want to gain the collective knowledge needed to perform my job to the best of my abilities. Hopefully, I will be able to finish my time here at Gulf Coast State College and move forward to Embry Riddle where I will finish my Aerospace Engineering degree. My ideal college experience would include myself graduating from both colleges. In addition to completing all of my schoolwork I want to have fun as well. I would like to meet new people, make new friends, and have a good time throughout my time in both schools.
What I expect from my time in college is to grow mentally, socially, and in knowledge. To grow outside my shell. To better myself not only for me but for the career path I have chosen. I want to be able to look back on my college experience and be proud of what I did. To be able to say I made it. I do expect obstacles and stress going through this college experience. Mostly I do want to enjoy college and not spend my college days stressing all the time. I would like to be surrounded by a positive environment that could help me grow and many ways and possibly help me pursue in the field that I decided to go in. My main goal is to be smarter and better when I leave college then how I came in.
I expect to get an education to make my self more marketable. To accomplish get my degree. If my writing gets better and so will the way I speak. The places I go and the people I associate with at work and church. I need to be able speak with clarity and understanding.
What do you expect from your time in college? •What would the ideal college experience be for you? •Address educational, social, and intellectual reasons for your choices
I would like to learn as much as I can while I am in collage. I want to be a game warden so I have to take boring classes but in the end every thing that I learns just helps me even more in life. right out of high school I got a full time job being a heavy equipment operator and I really don't want to be doing that the rest of my life. The ideal collage experience for me is to not even have to go to college. School is just not for me. I would rather spend my time hunting and fishing and working to make that money.
This would be my first time in college so as a stay at home mother with a husband working a full time job , who is rarely home Ill take what I can get. This defiantly isn't the college experience one would think in my mind I picture the usual out of high school sorority/ dorm thing parties on the the weekend or any time I guess what you see in movies those usually seem more fun then the real thing anyways ... ok back to reality. For me now Im working on myself finding what my interests are besides children and house work. Im starting off by taking 2 classes for the semester to ease my way back in to school .
I expect to learn a lot of useful knowledge from my time in college. I know it’s going to require a lot of hard work, but I’m hoping in the long run it will prepare me to dominate my career field. Ideal college experience for me would be passing and graduating. By that I mean, being able to enjoy learning and retaining knowledge. I love learning when I can really soak in the material. When I’m lost and confused or struggling to stay caught up, I get frustrated and don’t enjoy it at all. An educational reason for college is the opportunity to grow and better myself. Social reasons for college aren’t really important to me. I’d love to make new friends and live the typical college life style, but work and school take up all of my time. In the end, it will all be worth it.
I have a goal and vision of where I want to be in my career and life when I get my degree. As we all know, nothing in life is guaranteed and we never know what tomorrow has in store for us. That is why I’m here to see what I can accomplish before my time here on earth runs out. I expect that this is not going to be easy for me because of the fact that I did not apply myself or learn what I should have in grade school. This will most likely be one of the hardest test of my life but, I believe that my will and determination will overcome my flaws and bad choices from my past. I am happy with my life but I still feel that I have unfinished business in my education.
What do I expect from college ? I expect that college is going to change my life in a good way , I meet new people and I'm going to learn a lot a new thinks . I want to be successful and I'm working for that.College is a new experience for me and I hope to do well. I expect to be good in English that is a big challenge for me, I'm here for my family ,for myself and I'm ready to have a good experience in the college.
I expect to learn a lot more in college then I did thru out my life in school. I hope this time I actually learn and not just memorize everything like we were thought to do so in school to pass the SATs. My ideal college experience is to learn as much as I possibly can with all the great professor the college has to offer. It would also be ideal if I could just dedicate all my free time to studying, but since it’s not possible since I have to pay for my school, I have to learn how to manage my time between studying and working. I believe that the more knowledge a person gains, the more social they become. Knowing things about various subjects and areas can help a person’s ability to communicate with others. In other words, I believe that college helps to open up a person’s mind and in my opinion that’s really important.
The ideal college experience be for me, to be less stress. It has been a long time that I have been in school, so much has changed. I have a family and have to work and try to learn everything that I don’t remember is over whelming. I always have wanted to become a teacher. I hope to gain knowledge. When I interact with the teachers at my work they respect what I have to say. The middle school students who ask for help with their school work I can help. I hope that I have the experience to become a teacher.
For the time I’m spending in college I hope to gather the most knowledge as I can to determine the best outlook on the world around me. I hope to leave here with a higher head on my shoulders, feeling more confident in myself about the outlook I have on the world around me. With Gulf Coast State College I’ve felt like I’m getting what my money is worth, my instructors have been (for the most part) worth my tuition. I hope to learn twice as much as I did in high school, however I guess that depends on my willingness and determination. My ideal college experience is to learn as much as I can as fast as I can.
During my time in college, I hope that I will be successful in my attempt to learn the necessary skills to work in the medical field of podiatry. Primarily, the experience that I seek, the ideal experience, is that I may be able to use all of the skills that I have learned daily. I also wish that I will be able to go through my classes with relative ease and have a good, permanent understanding of the things I learn. Secondarily, I would like to make friends who I may share thoughts and memorable events with. With these people I hope that I may create new and fun memories.
During my time in college I expect to learn all the skills I need to become a successful radiography tech. My ideal college experience would honestly be to just get accepted into the radiography tech program and excel in my classes. This is something I’ve wanted to do since I was in high school. After getting my degree I would like to get my certification in MRI and CT Scan. I’m hoping college won’t be stressful, since I’ve been out of school for a while. I look forward to meeting new people, making new friends, and making new memories.
I expect to learn any and everything there is to learn about whatever classes I am taking at the time. I also hope to learn the necessary skills for the program I intend on applying to. My ideal college experience would be passing all my classes and being stress free. Also achieving my educational goals and earning a degree.
From my time in college I expect to learn the needed skills to be successful in the field of work I choose to enter. (Book smarts mainly I plan to learn hands on stuff on the actual job).
